Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, April 8, prove that Brady and Kristen can only be a united front for so long when it comes to Rachel. Or… anything.

Key Takeaways

  • Brady and Kristen disgree about Rachel.
  • Marlena counsels Stephanie.
  • Tate tries to outsmart Sophia.
  • Holly tries to apologize to Ari.

Brady and Kristen Clash Over Rachel’s Future

Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacey Haiduk) played nice when it came time for Rachel (Lorelei Olivia Mote) to go before a judge, but now that she’s been sent back to Bayview, the gloves are off. Brady believes his daughter needs intense psychiatric help.

Kristen thinks that Rachel is as perfect as any child could be (not that any other child comes close), and the problem is with the world, not her little darling. She is furious with Marlena (Deidre Hall) for suggesting her angel is ill, and Kristen plans to make her pay. Also EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). But first, Brady.

Marlena Treats Stephanie’s Trauma as Alex Struggles to Reach Her

Marlena spoke in her personal and professional capacity when it came to committing Rachel, and now she is working with Stephanie (Abigail Klein) on her Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Since her kidnapping, Stephanie has been feeling alienated from Alex (Robert Scott Wilson).

Marlena suggests that Stephanie confide in Alex. But if Stephanie doesn’t want to, Marlena should maybe propose a different course of treatment. That’s why she’s the expert, after all.

Holly Seeks Forgiveness While Tate’s Plan Against Sophia Risks Backfiring

Now that Holly (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate (Leo Howard) know that her mood swings were due to tainted medication, Holly attempts to make up for her behavior to Ari (now Vico Escorcia). Though knowing Holly, she’ll likely end up blaming Ari for not being the one to figure it out first.

Meanwhile, Tate thinks he can trick Sophia into admitting what she did and getting her put away for good. Though knowing Tate, that’s likely to be even more of a disaster than all his previous plans.

Sophia was smart to begin with. But now that she’s got Kristen as a mentor, she is basically unstoppable.
