In 1981, James Reynolds originated the role of Abe Carver on Days of Our Lives (DOOL). Today he celebrates his birthday!
Reynolds took a break from the show when he took over the role of Henry Marshall on the soap opera Generations in 1990-1991. The popular actor also guested on several NBC primetime hits like Seinfeld, 227, and Highway to Heaven.
He has been married to Lissa Layng since Dec. 21, 1986 and they have one son, Jed. He also served in the Marine Corps during Vietnam.
You may not know that Reynolds also owns the Fremont Centre Theatre in South Pasadena.
