Fans absolutely love Vincent Irizarry and miss him on Days of Our Lives but today he has plenty of reason to celebrate!
That’s because he was born on November 12, 1959, in Queens, New York, which means he’s turning 59 years old today!
Irizarry arrived on the daytime scene when he scored the role of Brandon “Lujack” Luvonoczek on Guiding Light back in 1983. Lujack was killed and several years later, the actor returned to the show as Lujack’s never-before-known twin brother Nick McHenry.
In between stints, he went to Los Angeles and appeared as Dr. Scott Clark on the soap Santa Barbara from 1987-1989. In 1997, he landed at All My Children where he played Dr. David Hayward for many years and even took the character over to Llanview on One Life to Live.
In 2007, he portrayed another David — David Chow on The Young and the Restless before years later appearing in Salem on DAYS as Deimos.
Outside of soaps, Irizarry appeared in the Clint Eastwood film Heartbreak Ridge, was Gino Santangelo in the mini-series Lucky Chances, and appeared on primetime shows like Murder, She Wrote, L.A. Law, Beverly Hills, 90210, NCIS: Los Angeles, Homeland, and many more.
On the personal front, the handsome actor has three children — daughters Siena and Aria as well as son Elias.
