Soap Vet Alla Korot Makes DAYS Debut

She was in a music video “Lady Killer” back in the 1990s on “Another World” opposite Ricky Paull Goldin. Next week, Alla Korot debuts on “Days of Our Lives” looking for a killer.

Remember poor Clark, Summer’s (Marie Wilson) old “acquaintance” she accidentally killed a while back? Well, it turns out he has a sister named Janet Bernard and she wants to know what happened to her brother.

While the role is short-term, Korot loved creating a new Salem character to shake things up. She also loved meeting up with some former co-stars, including Daniel Cosgrove and Vincent Irizarry, who she worked with on “All My Children.”

“Vincent and I had some good catch-up between hair and makeup and working,” Korot said in the July 4 issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Daniel and I hadn’t seen each other in quite a while. We had a chance to catch up in the dressing room.”

Korot’s character will likely catch onto Summer’s schemes.

“Janet is on a mission to find out what happened to her brother,” Korot told Digest. “She’s strong and knows what she wants. She can see through the lie very quickly and is somebody who doesn’t mess around.”
