Chrishell Stause, the daytime veteran who will be making a Days of Our Lives appearance this week, has shared that her mother, who had been battling cancer, has died.
Condolences to Chrishell Stause
On February 4 of this year, ironically, World Cancer Day, Stause revealed that her mother was suffering from the same lung cancer that claimed the life of her father in 2019. “I can’t make sense of what life is teaching me yet,” Stause said, “but my heart is with every person fighting this horrible disease and every person that it robbed a loved one from. #fuckcancer #standuptocancer.”
The actress had said that her mother was supposed to live only 1 to 2 more months, but she lived, in fact, several more.
“In disbelief that you are gone,” Stause posted on Instagram. “Feeling just about every emotion, but I find comfort knowing Dad is up there taking care of you and showing you the ropes like only he could. Absolutely heartbreaking watching you take your last labored breath, but there is a peace knowing you two are together again, free from the pain that plagued your time here. A free spirit and rebel till the very end. My beautiful Mom, in your own words #FuckCancer
“Our family would like to thank the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center and especially Debbie and Pam who helped lovingly assist our Mom to the other side,” Stause added. “Your kindness and care in this time will never be forgotten.”
“Chrishell I’m so sorry,” posted Hunter King (Summer, The Young and the Restless), “sending you so much love during this time. Your mom is so lucky to have such a loving and supportive daughter. #fuckcancer.”
“I am so sorry Chrishell,” says Judy Blye Wilson, former All My Children casting director, who discovered Stause for the role of Amanda. “I am sending you love and prayers.” Soap Hub also extends sincere condolences to Stause and her family at this difficult time.
