You’ve got to be in it in order to win it. That’s the philosophy Chrishell Stause is taking regarding her quest to take home the mirror ball trophy on Dancing With the Stars! The actress took to social media to celebrate the victory of learning and completing her first dance!
Chrishell Stause: Dancing Sensation
“This is me raising my glass to getting the 1st dance out of the way!” Stause, a Daytime Emmy nominee for her role as Jordan Ridgeway on Days of our Lives, posted on Instagram. “After those scores, I better make mine a double 🤣🤣😬🍸🍸🤦🏻♀️😜 #TeamSellingIt #DWTS.”
While scoring 13 out of 30 isn’t the best, it’s important to note that this is the first week of the competition. And Stause plans on giving it her all when she does her second dance next week. “Working overtime to get those scores up next time! Hope you guys watch and vote Tuesday! The Tango is no joke😳, but I feel like I can do a better job with my next one.😅🤞🏼🙏🏼💃🏻.”
Chrishell Stause is partnered with Gleb Savchenko, who first became a pro dancer on the show in 2013, Season 16. He came back in Season 23 and was partnered with actress Jana Kramer. They went to the finals, finishing in fourth. In Season 24, Savchenko had another Real Housewife of Beverly Hills — Erika Jayne. They finished in 9th place.
In Season 25 of Dancing With The Stars, he was paired with Sasha Pieterse (Pretty Little Liars). They landed in 10th place. In Season 26, he was paired with Notre Dame women’s basketball player Arike Ogunbowale. They were ejected in the second week of the competition.
In Season 27, the dancer was paired with comedian Nikki Glaser. They were the first couple to go. The following year, Savchenko went all the way to the finals, finishing in fourth place, partnered with singer Lauren Alaina. Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
