This Soap Star Joins The Fight For Teachers’ Rights

This longtime soap star is all in for Los Angeles teachers as they fight for labor rights.

Days of Our Lives star Arianne Zucker shared a snap on Instagram of herself and her daughter Isabella on a picket line, in which she said, “Rain or Shine Supporting our teachers!!!!”

According to a CNN report, crowds gathered have numbered around 50,000 and they seem to be growing.

Some reasons for the strike is a desire for smaller class sizes, increased staff, and of course, higher salaries. These seem to be the needs of teachers across The United States as education is often last priority.

On day three of the strike, Wednesday, students showed up to support their teachers and they were joined by another famous face — E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt.

On Thursday, the teachers’ strike continued — with no sign of an end in sight.
