Soap Hopper Zach Tinker Suffers a Devastating Loss

Zach Tinker is a favorite on not one but two different soaps. He’s Daytime Emmy-nominated for his run as Fenmore Baldwin on The Young and the Restless and he’s won viewers over as Sonny Kiriakis in Days of our Lives peacock programming. Sadly, the actor has suffered a deep loss.

Zach Tinker Has Lost A Beloved Family Member

“After 21 long years of living, we had to put Bella down today,” Zach Tinker shared on his Instagram account. “She was the weirdest [expletive] dog I’ve ever met, and I wouldn’t have changed a gosh darn thing about her. I love you, little girl…rest easy.”

You can see in the post below, Tinker has shared four different photos of Bella. He noted that she would have turned 21 in January. Several of Tinker’s followers posted supportive messages on the actor’s post. “Sorry Zach,” wrote @lucamluca. “Been through this a few times in my life and it feels like a member of your family is gone. My condolences.”

Tinker made the daytime scene a little over three years ago when he debuted as Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) and Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) son Fenmore on Y&R. The actor scored a Daytime Emmy nomination in the category of Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series in 2019 for his role on the show. Curiously, the character hasn’t stuck around Genoa City for very long — much to the dismay of the fans who’ve embraced him from his first day in soaps.

He’s appeared sporadically as Fenmore over the years. Tinker recently visited the Y&R studio but not for an on-camera appearance. Instead, he dropped by to wish TV dad LeBlanc on 30 years of playing Michael Baldwin.

Zach Tinker’s ‘Sonny’ DAYS

Tinker hasn’t been on Days of our Lives on NBC but he has appeared on two peacock DAYS streaming projects. He debuted as Sonny in September in Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem and, more recently, reprised the role in Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas.
