Days of Our Lives Alison Sweeney
As Alison Sweeney’s return to Days of Our Lives (DOOL) begins to wind down, fans reveal how they feel about Sami popping in and out of Salem.
We knew her return would only be about two months, but what a ride it has been! There hasn’t been a dull moment in the roller coaster that’s been her return. After all, Sami has already been arrested several times, been slapped, punched someone — and now seen her dead son.
While we’d all love the actress to stick around, how do you feel about her popping in and out of Salem from time to time? Soap Hub asked just this and your answer was crystal clear.
Key to the City
After almost 7,000 votes were tallied, a whopping 91% hope that Alison Sweeney continues to return to Salem — any time that she sees fit. Salem is just that much more interesting with Sami in town, and you love it that DAYS is must-see TV again.
You realize that she has other exciting things happening with her career, like her Hallmark movies, so you’re willing to take her whenever she can fit DAYS into her schedule.
There are plenty of things left for Sami in Salem, especially now that Will (Chandler Massey) is back.
But you also love her relationship with her mom, Marlena (Deidre Hall), and her twin brother Eric (Greg Vaughan).
No one cuts out the baloney faster than Sami, and she always tells it like it is — and everyone in town needs that whether they want it or not.
Just A Tease
For the remaining 9%, you want her back fulltime and these quick returns are just a tease and they rip out your heart when she leaves. You’d rather not deal with that.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
