John tried to tell Hattie that posing as Marlena would wear on her on Days of Our Lives, but she had no idea what she was in for.

When Hattie (Deidre Hall) finally left the hospital, it was all a big surprise. First, she ran into her old buddies — Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) — and they had something horrifying to show “Marlena;” they thought she was the guilty party.

Of course, none of it was real.
