#SalemLivesMatter: Is Hope Abusing Police Power On Days Of Our Lives?

Hope has made it her life’s mission to make sure that all Ben is locked up again on Days of Our Lives.

She made a deal with his lawyer where charges would be dropped as long as Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) left town. Can cops do that? Isn’t that more of a District Attorney thing?

If Hope (Kristian Alfonso) had enough evidence to arrest Ben, he’d still be sitting in prison. The fact that he isn’t means she doesn’t.

And now Hope is right up there with Les Miserables’ Inspector Javert, and The Fugitive’s Inspector Gerrard when it comes to hounding a (more or less) innocent man.

She also tried holding Sami without giving her a phone call just so she could ream her out about sleeping with Rafe, but that’s a whole other story.

Hope has lost her darn mind, 92% of you shout. She says she’s protecting Ciara (Victoria Konefal), but Hope is acting like a mom, not a cop.

One is allowed to be unreasonable and hysterical. One has to be professional and by the book. Oh, and also fake an interest in justice.

Hope is also pulling Rafe (Galen Gering) into her psychosis and she’s leading him down a path he shouldn’t be going down.

If both lose their jobs, who is going to support the Williams-Brady/Hernandez household? Actions have consequences, Hope. Give it some thought the next time you decide to go off half-cocked on Ben.

Hope has been justified in everything she’s done, a minority 8% of you counter. She’s a cop.

Cops put away bad guys. And Ben is a bad guy. We SAW him strangle Will (Chandler Massey) and the rest. Eve (Kassie DePaiva) feels the same way. But she’s a mom without a badge. Hope is doing this for all victims who never got justice. And for Ciara, too.
