Days of Our Lives fans and soap fans, in general, got quite a treat over the last month as longtime soap veteran Robin Strasser gave us her take on Vivian Alamain, a role previously played by Louise Sorel on and off since the 1990s.

Robin Strasser Ends DAYS Stint

Strasser, best known as the original Rachel Davis on Another World and as Dorian Cramer Lord on One Life to Live, is wrapping up her DAYS run this week and teasers make it look like she’ll be heading out of town with Eve. (We pretty much have no doubt Eve will be back.)

If that seems strange, it’s really not, considering that Strasser and Kassie DePaiva plated aunt and niece Dorian and Blair on OLTL for years. The plot point seems like a hat tip from DAYS head writer Ron Carlivati, who wrote for the pair at OLTL.

Of course, Strasser has a lot to say about her DAYS stint and what she hopes for next out of the daytime world. She tells us that Kristen Alderson who played Starr on both OLTL and General Hospital, convinced her to keep her Twitter account and a year ago and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Not surprisingly, the one thing Strasser wants most right now is to see ABC somehow revive All My Children and One Life to Live. The network once again owns the rights to these two soaps and executives have said reviving them in some way is a possibility, but nothing has ever been confirmed.

Take a peek at some of her tweets below as she expresses her joy with being able to bring Vivian, while revealing some secrets — including that she once never realized how far in advance DAYS tapes. We thank you, Robin Strasser, for an absolutely incredible month. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
