Ben hasn’t had a lot of things go his way on Days of Our Lives, but Robert Scott Wilson has plenty to celebrate!
Wilson was born on November 9, 1987 in Massachusetts, which means that he’s turning 31 years old today! In 2010, he made the move to Los Angeles to pursue his journey as an actor.
Two years later, the handsome actor won the first-ever male model search contest for The Price Is Right. He used to watch the show with his grandmother who helped raise him. Wilson has been featured in numerous print advertising campaigns as well as music videos.
It wasn’t long before the soaps came calling. Wilson appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2013 as Forrester Shipping Employee #2. That same year, he joined All My Children as Pete Cortlandt, the son of wacky Opal and the richest guy in town, Palmer Cortlandt.
But it was the following year in 2014 when he booked the role that would endear him to millions of DAYS fans — Batty Ben, who would go on to kill several characters. But luckily for fans, Ben would get the help he needed and has since returned to the show to woo Ciara (Victoria Konefal).
He’s also worked on several shows outside of soaps. Wilson has appeared on Surviving Jack, The Middle, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, I Didn’t Do It, Supah Ninjas, Entourage, and Melissa & Joey. He’s also appeared in the feature films Bride Wars, Surrogates, Friends with Benefits, and The Social Network.
In his free time, the self-declared die-hard New England sports fan enjoys playing basketball, football, and paintball. He also enjoys relaxing with his two dogs, family, and friends.
