On the March 25 episode of Days of our Lives, Brady, Marlena, and Sarah leapt to the obvious, though, in this case, wrong conclusion that Rachel slipped Holly her own anti-psychotic pills by pretending they were vitamin supplements for her skin. There is, once again, an easy and obvious way to prove or disprove this theory. But will the show go there?
Key Takeaways
- Holly’s pills have been tampered with
- The drugs match Rachel’s
- A simple test to prove who is telling the truth
What Happened: Brady, Marlena, and Sarah Assume Rachel Drugged Holly
Was it only last week that we pointed out Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) should really order a blood test for Holly (Ashley Puzemis) to see if they could figure out what was causing her mood swings? Sarah didn’t. Good thing Holly’s gynecologist is smart, and did.
So now they know Holly has been drugged with antipsychotic medication.
Why It Matters: Rachel Faces Blame
Since Rachel (Lorelei Olivia Mote) gave the pills to Tate (Leo Howard) and has her own prescription, it makes sense that Sarah, Brady (Eric Martsolf), and Marlena (Deidre Hall) would presume the obvious.
They think Rachel drugged Holly. If only there was a way to test to know for sure… oh, wait! There is!
The Fallout: A Blood Test Could Clear Rachel and Expose Sophia
Give Rachel a blood test, ASAP. If her drug levels are where they should be, then it’s obvious that she has been taking her meds and couldn’t have another set to give to Holly. Ask her where she got the drugs. When she admits it was Sophia (Rachel Boyd), give Sophia a blood test, too.
We have to assume Sophia has been hoarding her own pills in order to slip them to Holly, which means her blood test will prove she hasn’t been taking her medication. This will back up Rachel’s story and prove who the mastermind behind Holly’s poisoning is. This would be the obvious thing to do. Will anyone do it?
