Jen Lilley is bringing Theresa back to Days of Our Lives in May.
When the character was last seen in Salem, she convinced Brady (Eric Martsolf) that she never loved him, didn’t care about their son Tate, and was going back to her wild, drug-filled old ways.
Of course, it was all a lie. Theresa actually left Brady and Tate to protect them from Mateo, a dangerous drug lord from her past who was making threats against her family. The plan was to work with her ISA agent father, Shane, to take the scoundrel down.
Soap Hub asked if Theresa would return to her manipulative ways when she resurfaces in Salem. Some 4,000 fans weighed in.

Some 56% of fans believe Theresa’s time away with her old unsavory crowd will make her revert back to her old scheming self.

You fully expect the whole experience to have hardened her and that any progress she had made to become a caring person during her last months in Salem, to be long gone.
Once she sees Brady has moved on, she’ll be angry and bitter. And, if he’s reunited with Eve (Kassie DePaiva) and be happy when she returns, you’re certain Theresa will do everything in her power to ruin it.
No, Theresa Has Changed
Theresa was a changed woman when she split town. She was kinder, loving and truly selfless. That’s why she abandoned her family and forsook her own happiness.
Some 44% of you expect her to still be that way. While Theresa will obviously be hurt to learn Brady moved on with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and, then, Eve, she’ll accept things as they are. Deep down, all she wants is for Brady and Tate to lead happy and safe lives.
