A Days of Our Lives (DOOL) set designer has brought a case to court after a 2015 injury on a Salem soundstage.
According to TMZ, which claims it obtained court documents, set designer Karla Bergstrom is suing Sony–which owns Days of Our Lives–claiming negligence on the set when a whopping 400-pound bar of lights came down on her head.
Bergstrom said she suffered severe brain injuries during the accident and claims nobody gave the heads-up when the lights were coming down and the grid fell on top of her.
The set designer is suing Sony, as well as the lighting company known as Goodnight and Co. for medical expenses and other damages.
TMZ claims Sony and Goodnight have not commented on the legal suit. Soap Hub will keep you informed as we know more about this developing case.
