As Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) slept, Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas) talked to herself out loud about what she did and attempted to suffocate Sarah. Xander (Paul Telfer) walked in just in time, for Fiona to stop, and Sarah woke up still trying to remember the accident. When she couldn’t, she wondered if hypnosis would jog her memory while Fiona vowed they would never find out who was driving.
After the charges were dropped, Brady (Eric Martsolf) was released and ran into Ava (Tamara Braun) at the pub, who told him she remembered him talking to the woman with the accent the night of the hit-and-run. Justin (Wally Kurth) later saw Ava and confided in her about no one being happy about the way he helped his client, not even Brady.
Tate (Leo Howard) vented to John (Drake Hogestyn) about what happened with Holly (Ashley Puzemis) while she blasted Eric (Greg Vaughan) for what he did to her dad. Eric called Nicole (ex-Arianne Zucker) to give her a heads up while Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) comforted Holly.

Stephanie (Abigail Klein) called Connie (Julie Dove) to invite her to Everett’s (ex-Blake Berris,) memorial service. But seeing as Connie was in the middle of dealing with the captive Melinda (Tina Huang), she claimed to never have known Everett and hung up. Stephanie shared the strange encounter with Jada, who learned from Ava about Connie’s fraudulent behavior a d went knocking on her door. Meanwhile, Connie showed up at Gabi’s (Cherie Jimenez) office with a knife, all while Paulina (Jackée Harry) shouted at Rafe (Galen Gering) to woke up from his coma, and he did.
As for The DiMeras, Stefan (Brandon Barash) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) remained at each other’s throats, and when Stefan let what EJ slip to Johnny (Carson Boatman), he tore into his father.

Jada made it inside Connie’s apartment, but just before she could get to the room where Melinda is being held, she got a call from Paulina telling her Rafe was awake. Meanwhile while, after Connie arrived at Gabi’s office hiding a knife behind her back, she was just about to get her revenge when Gabi got a call about Rafe being awake.
Stephanie shared her suspicions about both Connie and Abigail (AnnaLynne McCord) with Chad (Billy Flynn, who just celebrated a major milestone on DAYS). She told him about how Abigail claimed to have a phone call with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) when Kayla said she never talked to her, while Steve (Stephen Nichols) walked in on Abigail talking to Stefano’s portrait about her brother. He asked if she meant JJ, and she agreed, but Steve couldn’t hide his suspicion.

Eric confided in Marlena (Deidre Hall) about his confrontation with Holly, while Holly learned from Tate that the charges against Brady were dropped. Furious, she she skipped class and went to EJ’s office, offering to help him get evidence against Brady. EJ also offered immunity to Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), if she testified against Brady, knowing she disappeared his car, but she turned him down.
Meanwhile, Fiona told Victor’s portrait all about how she was the driver and had that she almost suffocated Sarah just before Brady showed up to apologize to Sarah. Xander saw him first and promised he would pay for what he did. Brady showed his remorse to Sarah for what he did before Sarah went to Marlena’s office for her hypnosis session.

While Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) cozied up to Tate as he worried about his girlfriend, Holly told EJ she wanted Brady to pay the way Eric never did for killing her dad.
Sarah’s hypnosis session ended with her realizing the driver wasn’t Brady and she knew who it was, but it seems she decided to keep the truth from Xander. While she went home and got a visit from Eric, Xander tracked down Brady with a bat in-hand, ready to get his own payback until Fiona arrived with a confession to make.
