It was another week of shockers in Salem as couples called it quits and another life was lost.

It’s the first day of shooting Body & Soul and the cast and crew went on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Johnny (Carson Boatman) woke up from a dream about Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) going a little too far during their love scene, while Chanel went to her mom’s place to vent about her husband. Johnny arrived and apologized for what happened, but when Chanel and Alex later tried and failed to get the love scene postponed, Johnny couldn’t hide his disappointment.
Also with a dream on their mind was Stephanie (Abigail Klein), who shook the thoughts of her sexy dream about Alex away when he stopped by, and was later there to comfort her when she learned the truth about Everett’s (ex-Blake Berris) death.
Bonnie (Judi Evans) banged on Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) door in need of her new script, but he told her he only did rewrites for Hattie (Deidre Hall, who paid tribute to the late Drake Hogestyn). Also talking about the B&S star were Abe (James Reynolds) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) when he told her about Hattie’s ultimatum regarding Bonnie, and they both decided they needed to fire Bonnie.
On set at the pub, when Bonnie walked in, Hattie wondered why she hadn’t been fired yet, while Abe asked Leo to write new pink pages. Leo later delivered them to Bonnie, who was shocked to learn her character was being killed off.
After Seth (Adam Leadbeater) told Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) the hospital won’t approve B&S filming scenes there, she fought for the soap and he approved it as long as they hired him to play the Chief of Staff of Pineview Hospital, Dr. Blake Lamoray.
Bonnie’s attempt to sue B&S failed and she tearfully told Hattie she was looking forward to working with her after realizing she was behind her character getting killed off. Later, after the filming location changed from the pub to the hospital, everyone arrived and actresses shot their scenes. Johnny got word that Hattie was done for the day and suggested Bonnie rehearse the next scene with Seth and Alex, which revealed that she’s not dying, while Abe broke the news to Hattie that she’s the one getting killed off.
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) found out EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) arrested Brady (Eric Martsolf) again, but when she learned it was due to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) remembering, she went to see Brady and told him her plan to make Sarah disappear. Later, after talking to Stefano’s portrait, Kristen watched as Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton) came out of the walls.
Eric (Greg Vaughan) went on a mission to help his brother, first by paying Xander’s (Paul Telfer) a visit to question him about what happened to Brady before he was arrested, then overhearing Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas) and Sarah talking about how she lied about seeing Brady behind the wheel.
After Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) taunted Holly (Ashley Puzemis) over snooping through Brady’s room and told her she could satisfy Tate more than she could, Holly proved she’s her mother’s daughter by slapping her. When Tate witnessed it and Sophia got him to turn on Holly, he broke up with her.
Despite Xander keeping the gun in his office and promising to get revenge, he assured Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) he would drop his vendetta when she asked him to, while Brady wrestled with his feelings for Kristen and shared them with Marlena (Deidre Hall).
After Rolf emerged from the walls, he pitched to Kristen a new serum that could fix any ailments of the human body and her immediate thought was a spinal cord injury. When he told her it was possible, she went to see Xander and told him about it, saying it was all his as long as he made sure Brady went free.
After the breakup, Eric found Holly crying outside the pub and she blamed him for everything. He then suggested she visit her mother, and after some back and forth, she agreed. Meanwhile, Sophia comforted Tate and admitted she still had feelings for him before kissing him, but Tate told her he wasn’t ready to move on.
Stefan (Brandon Barash) brought flowers to Gabi’s (Cherie Jimenez) room and apologized for what happened until Gabi woke up from the dream to Rafe (Galen Gering) at her bedside. He told her he’s being discharged while EJ informed Stefan he’s suing him for defamation and let it slip that Gabi wanted to sleep with him more than once. Stefan eventually did show up at Gabi’s room with flowers, which were from Gabi Chic, and told her he wants a divorce, while Rafe called EJ and warned him to stay away from his sister.
Meanwhile, Mark (Jonah Robinson) and “Abigail” (AnnaLynne McCord) discussed their plan for her to marry Chad while Aaron (Louis Tomeo) comforted Felicity (Kennedy Garcia) when she was missing their deceased parents. Just as Mark told his sister that Aaron and Felicity needed to be kept in the dark, the younger siblings found Mark and “Abigail” talking and they didn’t recognize her. Felicity noted she looked familiar, and later Mark told “Abigail” it was understandable they didn’t recognize her due to the plastic surgery.
After Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) encouraged Chad (Billy Flynn) to tell the kids about Abigail’s return, he called Abby over to let her know he’s ready to tell the kids she’s alive.
