After things got wild after the wedding, Hitman Mark (Jonah Robinson) was taken down by Steve (Stephen Nichols) just in the knick of time. After Steve revealed that “Abigail” was not Abigail, Chad (Billy Flynn) lashed out as she told him the truth, revealing she’s Cat, the daughter of Catharina.

Meanwhile, after Xander (Paul Telfer) told Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) that Brady (Eric Martsolf) was released and his mother was the one behind the wheel, she made him a new offer: Titan in exchange for the serum. At the station, Brady and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) made amends after she had gotten him arrested.

While Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) confided in Justin (Wally Kurth) about his feelings for Stephanie (Abigail Klein), she revealed to Jada (Elia Cantu) that their one-time fling wasn’t a one-time thing.

Nancy (Patrika Darbo) rolled into Salem asking Bonnie (Judi Evans) to help score her daughter, Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins), a role on Body & Soul, while Joy met a heartbroken Johnny at the bar. Johnny confided in her about Chanel’s supposed divorce and alluded to wanted to spend the night with her.

It was a big day on the Body & Soul set as Marlena (Deidre Hall) arrived to film Hattie’s (Deidre Hall) death scene and noticed something was off with her grandson. He kept his worry about Chanel (Raven Bowens) to himself, while Leo (Greg Rikaart) shared some on-set gossip with Stephanie and Paulina (Jackee Harry) about Alex having a fling with one of his co-stars and Seth later mistook Stephanie for Faith.

As Chanel and Alex sneaked around on set behind Johnny’s back, he finally confronted his wife about the affair. When he stormed away, he walked on set to find the cast and crew throwing him a surprise birthday party, set up by Chanel.

Meanwhile, Abe (James Reynolds) offered Joy an opportunity to audition for a new character who is supposed to come between Faith and Arrow, and she practiced a slap scene with Chanel.

Once Johnny found out Chanel never had an affair, he tried playing it cool at his party until Chanel revealed to everyone what Johnny truly thought was going on. Johnny admitted he’s defense was that he and Seth saw the on-set sex and Seth (Bruce Beaty) revealed who he saw were Alex with Stephanie, revealing their fling and forcing Kate to warn them to stay away from each other.

Meanwhile, as Johnny and Chanel had it out over Johnny’s assumption and noticed his wedding ring wasn’t on, Nancy was in Joy’s room noticing a man’s wedding ring on the table, which Joy later gave back to Johnny.

After receiving the divorce papers, Stefan (Brandon Barash, who announced his DAYS exit) wrestled with his decision to divorce Gabi (Cherie Hernandez) while she realized they were making a big mistake. But before she could tell him, someone appeared in the mansion and strangled him.

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) offered Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas) a plea deal, but when Melinda (Tina Huang) showed up and get her off, she was found in the square by Sarah (Linsey Godfrey).

Xander teetered with his decision to give Kristen Titan in exchange for the serum, and just when he was about to sign it over to her, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) showed up in attempt to stop him.
