The Days of our Lives recap for November 18-22 covers every inch of this week’s drama, from a mass poisoning to a miraculous moment.
It was a big week at Salem University Hospital when half the cast of Body & Soul was poisoned after the show’s premiere, while Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) learned her fate from receiving the serum.

When the Body & Soul cast received cupcakes to celebrate the premiere, Johnny (Carson Boatman), Abe (James Reynolds), Leo (Greg Rikaart), Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), and Roman (Josh Taylor) wound up eating them, while Bonnie (Judi Evans) feared they could be poisoned. Later, when Abe received good news about the premiere’s views, he suddenly fell ill.
Meanwhile, Chanel (Raven Bowens) invited Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) over to watch with her and an awkward Johnny, while Leo and Javi (Al Calderon) watched the premiere in bed before Leo later learned that someone posing as Lady Whistleblower was planning on leaking spoilers about B&S.
While Javi went to work and defended his relationship with Leo to Gabi (Cherie Jimenez), Leo panicked over the new Lady Whistleblower threatening to blow B&S spoilers. Worrying Javi could be behind it, he found him in Gabi’s office and confronted him.
After eating the cupcakes, Johnny, Alex, and Roman all fell ill. Johnny worried he didn’t deserve Chanel taking care of him, Alex got sick while running lines with Joy, and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) brought Roman to the hospital to get checked out. Kate showed up and informed them that a crew member had been sent home after getting sick, and they realized it was from the cupcakes.
When Leo barged in accusing Javi of being Lady Whistleblower, the two had it out and Javi broke things off with Leo.
While JJ (Casey Moss) vented to Gabi about Chad’s (Billy Flynn) situation with Cat, Clyde (James Read) called Chad (Billy Flynn) and told him to check into a hotel with Cat pretending to be married. Cat suggested Mark (Jonah Robinson) go in there place, and when Chad refused, JJ stepped in to help them.
Rafe (Galen Gering) informed Paulina (Jackée Harry) that he’d be quitting the force, and Kate later told them she believed Hattie (Deidre Hall) could be behind the cupcakes.
As everyone waited to hear news about Sarah’s recovery, an impatient Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) barged into her hospital room and tried prying her out of bed to walk. Xander promptly kicked her out of his wife’s room, and when Sarah decided to try walking, she almost instantly stumbled into Xander’s arms. Later, when Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) accidentally knocked a water bottle onto Sarah’s bed, it hit Sarah’s leg and she felt it.
Happily reunited, Tate (Leo Howard) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) ran into Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) in the square. When they got back to the Kiriakis Mansion, Tate admitted to Holly that he called Sophia her name and Holly wondered if he would have gotten back together with her had Sophia not broken up with him.
While Chanel overheard Johnny talking in his sleep about something he and Joy “shouldn’t do,” Joy confessed to Alex that she and Johnny slept together and begged him not to tell anyone.
After Kristen made a scene in the square about Brady and Ava’s (Tamara Braun) growing relationship, he finally admitted to her that the only relationship he wants with her is as friends and co-parents to Rachel (Finley Rose Slater).
Meanwhile, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) agreed to represent Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) in court, while Sarah tried walking again after feeling the water bottle and was able to walk out of her hospital room and surprise Xander and Maggie in the hall.
