There were big decisions to be made this week in Salem, and the Days of our Lives recap for November 11-15 covers every inch of the drama.
It was an uncertain week for several couples around Salem, while Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) was faced with a life-altering decision.

At the station, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) asked Chad (Billy Flynn) why he wants to drop the charges against Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) and Chad revealed that Clyde (James Read) said he’d tell him where Abigail’s body is as long as he “gets Cat’s head on a pike.” Chad explained he plans on catching Clyde this way, and the first step is to make Clyde believe he’ll work with him.
When Brady (Eric Martsolf) confronted Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) about dangling the serum over Xander (Paul Telfer), he told her there was no chance of them getting back together if she kept Sarah from getting better. Later, after Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) told Sarah about her husband’s plan to kill him, Brady arrived with the serum.
When Leo (Greg Rikaart) introduced himself to Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins), she realized he was the man who destroyed her parents’ marriage, revealing she’s Craig’s (ex-Kevin Spirtas) daughter.
After Chad dropped the charges, he revealed his plan to Cat, while Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) got a visit from JJ (Casey Moss) and informed him of Doug’s (the late Bill Hayes) ailing health.
EJ ran into Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) in the square and confronted her over her blaming him for her failed marriage. EJ’s continuous goading ended in her slapping him. When EJ grabbed her arm, JJ walked up and ordered him to let her go.
JJ and EJ’s fight ended with JJ throwing a punch and Gabi intervening. When EJ left, the two caught up.
After Johnny (Carson Boatman) told Joy he was considering confessing to Chanel, who Alex confided in about his feelings for Stephanie (Abigail Klein), Johnny confided in his father about what he did.
Paulina (Jackée Harry) met Rafe (Galen Gering) and Jada (Elia Cantu) at the pub and after announcing their engagement, Paulina revealed her plan to demote Rafe to detective and keep Jada on as commissioner.
As Tate (Leo Howard) looked fondly at a picture of Holly (Ashley Puzemis), he got a visit from Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) and assured her he wants to be with her. But when the two hopped into bed, Tate accidentally called Sophia “Holly.”
When JJ found out Chad dropped the charges against Cat, he tore into his former brother-in-law. Chad explained why he did what he did and asked JJ to keep his secret.
Aaron (Louis Tomeo) vented to Holly about Mark’s (Jonah Robinson) arrest and admitted that Cat is their sister, while Rafe admitted to Roman (Josh Taylor) that he was angry over being demoted. Later, he went home to Jada and informed her he plans on quitting the force.
After Brady talked things through with Ava (Tamara Braun) what Kristen did and where they stood, he went to his ex and told her he can’t make any promises about getting back together.
After Tate’s slip of the tongue, Sophia tore into him and stormed out. Later, he found Holly at the Kiriakis Mansion and told her he wants to get back together.
After Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) discussed the potential risks and uncertainty involving the serum, the decision was left up to Sarah. She decided to go ahead with the surgery and Xander supported her.
