After Leo ran into Javi in the square, he vented about the latest drama surrounding Lady Whistleblower. Javi assured him he’s moved on from what happened between them and the two decided to be friends. After shaking hands on their new agreement, Kerry (Derek Yates) showed up and left with Javi. Once they got home, Kerry questioned why Javi would want to be friends with someone like Leo.

Meanwhile, Hattie (Deidre Hall) visited Bonnie (Judi Evans) and the two made amends. Later, they went to see Leo and asked for his help in getting Hattie rehired on B&S, who lost Chanel after she informed Abe (James Reynolds) that she’s quitting the show.

At the pub, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) ran into Joy and offered her comfort when she spiraled over what happened. He later comforted an upset Chanel when she showed up crying over quitting the show.

As B&S PR, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) was put in charge of damage control with Lady Whistleblower and begged Chad (Billy Flynn) to reveal the writer’s identity. Once he agreed, they learned that he was paying the writer to an account in Rochester, where Kerry had just returned from. Meanwhile, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) got a visit from Sophia (Madelyn Kientz), who informed her that the abortion was off and she and Tate were being forced to marry.

At the Horton House, Doug III (Peyton Meyer) filled Leo in on his plans to settle his debt, then Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) walked in and he comforted her as she mourned the new year without her husband. While Kristen and Brady sparred over Rachel’s well-being and agreed their daughter needs therapy, Tate and Sophia came to the conclusion that putting their baby up for adoption may be the best option for everyone.

After Holly discovered Doug III beaten, he refused to go to the hospital, so she decided to bring him to the mansion to get checked out by Sarah (Linsey Godfrey).
