After Jada cried to Shawn (Brandon Beemer) after learning “Rafe” cheated on her, he took her home to Stephanie’s (Abigail Klein) and the two wound up sharing a kiss that led to much more on Stephanie’s couch.
At the pub, Stephanie surprised Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) with a cupcake and a gift for his birthday. Later, she decided to pay “Rafe” a visit to confront him about hurting Jada when he planted a kiss on her. After kneeing him in the groin, she went back to the pub and told Alex, realizing that moment with “Rafe” felt all-too-familiar.
After learning about the hospital’s potential closure, Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) proposed an idea to Marlena (Deidre Hall) about organizing a fundraiser to save the hospital. At the same time, Leo (Greg Rikaart) visited Chad (Billy Flynn) and asked if he could return to the paper as a reporter and Chad agreed. Later, Chad ran into Cat and Marlena in the square and was asked if he would help with the fundraiser.
Javi (Al Calderon) and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) discussed “Rafe”s strange behavior, and after Javi revealed he caught “Rafe” cheating, Gabi decided to confront her brother.

Stephanie shared her theory with Alex that Rafe may actually be Arnold, who she once had a uncomfortable encounter with years ago.
After “Rafe” called both Gabi and Javi insulting names, the stripper showed up and “Rafe” threw Gabi out. When an upset Gabi ran into Alex and Stephanie, Alex explained the Arnold theory while Stephanie hurried to inform Jada.
After Jada and Shawn slept together on Stephanie’s couch, Shawn was in the shower when Stephanie arrived and filled Jada in on Arnold, but it wasn’t long before Shawn walked out wearing nothing but a towel.

At the DiMera Mansion, Rita (Maggie Carney) kept a close watch over Rafe after he had been injected with the memory-wiping serum.
Gabi went back to see “Rafe,” this time suspecting he’s Arnold. After confronting him about not being her brother, she pulled a hair from his head to get a DNA test. Later, Rita arrived and tased Arnold on EJ’s orders.
When Stephanie informed Jada it wasn’t Rafe who cheated, she then questioned her about whether she just had with Shawn. After Jada and Shawn learned about Arnold, they went to confront him, but where met with real Rafe asking, “Who’s Rafe?”
At the SPD, Brady (Eric Martsolf) told Belle (Martha Madison) that EJ had been involved in Ava’s (Tamara Braun) kidnapping. Brady later confronted Kristen about her role in it, while Belle questioned EJ, who denied any involvement.

Kristen warned Brady that if she were sent to prison, Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) could be permanently taken from them, prompting Brady to try convincing Ava not to press charges.
Gabi showed up at the hospital asking Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) to perform a DNA test on the strand of hair from Arnold and herself, hoping to prove the man claiming to be Rafe was not her brother. Meanwhile, Jada and Shawn found Rafe at his house and mistook him for Arnold. Despite not recognizing them or himself, they arrested him.
Belle vented to Marlena about her growing relationship with EJ after learning his part in Ava’s kidnapping.

Tate (Leo Howard) found Sophia (Rachel Boyd) in the square and told her that Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) were interested in adopting their baby. Sophia complained about him telling Holly (Ashley Puzemis) before her, then warmed up to the idea just as her mom showed up. They told Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) about the potential adoptive parents and Sophia spun a web of lies about Johnny and Chanel being highly religious members of their church.
Meanwhile, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) shared with Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) about her Valentine’s Day with Tate, then revealed that Doug III (Peyton Meyer) admitted he has feelings for her. Over at the Horton House, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) spoke with Doug III about her missing necklace, leading him to question whether she suspected him of stealing it. She assured him she didn’t, then later Holly showed up.
At the hospital, Paulina (Jackée Harry) learned that Chanel had been undergone surgery to have cancerous cells removed from her uterus. When Chanel told her the adoption plan, she was on board, while Johnny confided in Marlena about the possibility of them adopting Tate’s baby.
