Someone’s leaving, someone’s pregnant, and someone’s running Titan, and the Days of our Lives recap for the week of December 16-20, 2024 covers everything you might have missed.
The Kiriakises found out who’s in charge of Titan, while The Greenes had a family reunion and somebody dropped a pregnancy bomb.

As the court battle approached, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) asked Kate (Lauren Koslow) to testify for him while Justin (Wally Kurth) asked Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) for Xander (Paul Telfer). Kate outright declined while Maggie decided she won’t choose sides. As for Belle (Martha Madison), she reunited with Brady (Eric Martsolf) and asked him to testify for Philip, but he also refused due to everything that happened between him and Xander.
Shawn (Brandon Beemer) paid Roman (Josh Taylor) a visit to tell him that he rejoined the force. Belle later ran into Shawn and told him she’s taking on Philip’s case and asked if he’d be a witness.
When the court battle began, Shawn and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) both testified and Belle asked Sarah about Xander’s attempted murder on Brady, while Kate called the prison and warned Vivian (Louise Sorel) not to say a word about Victor’s letter.
Justin objected to Belle’s questions about Brady and the judge went to recess to make her decision. When they returned to court, the judge ruled that Xander and Philip would be co-CEOs of Titan.
Chanel (Raven Bowens) told Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) she knows about her hookup with Alex, while Johnny (Carson Boatman) apologized to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) for his spiral of lies just as Stephanie (Abigail Klein) walked in and overheard him say that Alex was sleeping with Joy. Alex tried explaining, then when she left, he tore into Johnny over what happened while Stephanie visited Philip to find out the verdict and they shared a kiss.
The Vancouver crew arrived home, disappointed they didn’t have better news about Abigail’s body. Chad (Billy Flynn) filled Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) in on everything that happened and Jennifer decided that the time capsule should be filled with memories of Abigail.
JJ (Casey Moss) brought Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) home and told her he plans on staying in Salem for a while. Later, he joined his family in burying the time capsule at Abigail’s grave while Gabi thought back on JJ.
Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) reunited with Aaron (Louis Tomeo) and a shocked Felicity (Kennedy Garcia), who was skeptical that Cat is really her sister. Meanwhile, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) tried making Mark (Jonah Robinson) a plea deal when Belle burst in and fought for her new client, who wound up getting freed for now and reuniting with his family in the square before he serves his 18-month sentence.
Tate’s (Leo Howard) day was full of unexpected visits; first from Aaron, who told him he’s going to Vancouver to be with his mom, then from Sophia (Madelyn Kientz), who shockingly revealed she’s pregnant. Meanwhile, out Christmas shopping, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) ran into Leo (Greg Rikaart), who warned her about enjoying her relationship while it lasted.
After Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) introduced JJ to Doug III (Peyton Meyer), she told him about the stolen necklace and the suspicions surrounding her brother and Leo. Later, Doug III visited Leo and told him he needed help selling something and revealed the necklace.
While Chad sat by Abigail’s grave, he was joined by Cat before she said goodbye and left Salem with her siblings.
Doug III admitted he was the one who stole the necklace in order to pay off a debt and needed Leo’s help selling it. Leo told him to leave the necklace with him and then promised himself he’ll do right by Doug (the late Bill Hayes). Meanwhile, Jennifer shared her suspicions about Doug III with Julie but she’s convinced he’s innocent.
Brady arrived at Ava’s (Tamara Braun) for their date, but when he couldn’t find The Nutcracker tickets, they decided to order in and stream The Nutcracker instead. After Brady left, Ava received an anonymous text asking how her date was.
After Sophia’s big reveal, they discussed abortion options and Tate assured her that neither Sophia’s parents nor Holly would find out.
