Rafe certainly had EJ on edge on the December 30 episode of Days of our Lives. He showed up at the mansion just as EJ was having it out with Arnold and nearly got himself caught with the doppelgänger. He managed to hide his secret visitor and thought he was in the clear, but once he was out the door Rafe snuck back into the mansion and it all went sideways.
Mirror Image
Rafe’s (Galen Gering) spidey senses were tingling when he confronted EJ (Dan Feurerrigel). he could tell the D.A. (well, not anymore) was hiding something and resolved to unearth the truth. Rafe put those detective skills of his to the test and slunk back into the mansion seeking answers. He was sure all he needed was a little time alone in the huge home to find what he was looking for. What he didn’t expect was to find himself!
Coming face to face with Arnold took Rafe by utter shock. He’s faced this man down in the past but never expected to see him again. Especially not without warning. And, definitely not hiding practically in plain sight at the DiMera mansion. Talk about an unwelcome blast from the past!

There Can Only Be One Rafe
Now, we have to wonder what comes next. Obviously, there can’t be two Rafe moving around town. And Rafe can’t very well just go missing without nearly everyone noticing. He’s a prominent player, and with a wedding coming up, he can’t very well disappear.
Two Rafes are in the living room, but only one will be able to leave the house. Will it be the real Rafe? Will he be able to defeat Arnold and take his life back right away? That wouldn’t be very soapy! We think it’s going to go the whole other way. Arnold swiftly and effectively incapacitates Rafe and promptly takes over his life.
Arnold is going to have a ball stepping into Rafe’s shoes and unraveling his world. Will he fool Jada (Elia Cantu) and be the man standing at the altar on the wedding day? Let’s hope Jada realizes Rafe not only isn’t acting like himself but really isn’t himself before it’s too late.
