In the November 6 episode of Days of Our Lives, Dominic finally introduced himself to EJ and Marlena, making quite an impression in the process. Meanwhile, Kristen disguised herself as Susan Banks to attend Lexie’s memorial, where she delivered a heartbreaking goodbye to her sister before narrowly escaping discovery.

Key Takeaways

  • Kristen tearfully thanked Lexie for helping her escape EJ.
  • Roman and EJ were both fooled by Kristen’s Susan Banks disguise.
  • The real Susan’s arrival exposed Kristen’s deception.
  • Dominic introduced himself to EJ as his brother.

What Happened on DAYS

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) attended Lexie’s memorial disguised as Susan Banks, but removed her trademark glasses for a private moment with her sister’s urn. She apologized for the ridiculous disguise and thanked Lexie (Nikki Crawford) for warning her about EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) plans to send her away. Without that warning, Kristen wouldn’t have been there when Rachel needed her.

After saying she’d miss Lexie forever, Kristen made the sign of the cross, nearly giving herself away to Roman (Josh Taylor). She recovered, fooled EJ, and slipped out. Moments later, the real Susan arrived. Before EJ could process what had happened, Dominic entered the Pub.

“E.J. DiMera. We meet at last,” he announced, before introducing himself as Dominic Marino (Kyle Pryor) and adding, “Hello, brother.”

Why It Matters

Kristen’s farewell was a rare moment of genuine vulnerability. Beneath the ridiculous Susan Banks getup was a grieving sister who understood exactly what Lexie had done for her. Her gratitude for the time she gained with Rachel made the scene particularly moving.

Then came Dominic, whose entrance couldn’t have been better timed. EJ was already trying to figure out why two Susan Bankses had apparently wandered through the Pub. Suddenly, he had an entirely different family mystery standing in front of him.

The Fallout

Kristen may have escaped before EJ could confront her, but her cover is blown. Now he knows she was in Salem, and considering everything she’s been involved in lately, that revelation could have serious consequences.

Dominic, meanwhile, wasted no time announcing himself. Between his mysterious appearances around Salem, Stefano’s ring, and that rather confident “Hello, brother,” he certainly knows how to get everyone’s attention. But what exactly does he want from EJ and Marlena? It looks like this family memorial is going to be anything but peaceful.
