On today’s Days of our Lives, Bo Brady flatlined and then only slightly improved. Still, at least he’s not dead…again…yet anyway.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
In addition, the Johnson family was FINALLY reunited, Harris learned a little bit about what happened with Hope, and Wendy (Victoria Grace) was apprised of what a fool she’s been. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Days of our Lives Recap: Bo Brady Can’t Be Dead
While Shawn (Brandon Beemer) attempted to process — and excuse — his shooting of Bo (Peter Reckell), Hope (Kristian Alfonso) tended to her grievously wounded ex, all the while sobbing over how she’d been able to get through to him, to undo his brainwashing, to bring him back to himself. He called her Fancy Face, damn it!
Opposite this, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) properly introduced Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) to their savior, Harris Michaels (Steve Burton), and he, in turn, wound up confessing that he was well aware that it had been Bo behind all the mischief. Why hadn’t he spoken up sooner? “He didn’t want to lose Hope,” knowingly observed Chad (Billy Flynn).

Harris issued sincere apologies and pointed out that he did come through with the truth in the end. No one exactly thanked him.
After parting ways with Harris, Kayla, Steph, and Chad made their way back to Victor’s childhood home only to find the wine cellar-cum-dungeon bare. Panic ensued. Then it was suggested that Steve (Stephen Nichols) had made a great escape. “Sounds about right,” granted Kayla.
Meanwhile, in a hospital room somewhere in Greece, Bo flatlined, and all hope [HA!] seemed lost. After the doctor insisted that her husband was dead, Hope collapsed into a heap on the floor and entered a dream world in which the events of the day went decidedly different.
Instead of being shot by their son, Bo overcame his programming and happily reunited with Hope. The two then returned to the villa, seriously considered purchasing the property as a home away from home where they could escape to have “adult time” and engaged in a little wine drinking and dancing.
Hope eventually came to, roused by the voice of a suspiciously familiar-looking nurse going by the name Angela [played by Beyond Salem 2’s Loretta Devine, who was indeed a divine entity].
Angela had news for Hope: once she lost consciousness, Bo’s heart started beating again on its own, and he was rushed into surgery. He’s not out of the woods just yet, but there’s hope [again, that word!].
DAYS Recap: Reunited And It Feels So Good
Who should arrive before Kayla, Steph, and Chad but Steve himself, fresh from giving Shawn one heck of a pep talk? What a sight for sore eyes he was! A celebration was had. Hugs were given. Big bear hugs. And a few tears were shed — but happy tears.
But all good things must come to an end. To the hospital the group flew. Well, to the hospital the Johnsons flew; Chad headed back to the hotel to gather some clothes and fill Harris in on the latest developments.
Days of our Lives Recap: Bo Brady Fights His Way Back To Hope
Hope happily reunited with her loved ones and relayed the news about Bo’s condition. Minutes later, they were joined by Bo’s attending physician, who had an update. There’s been a…complication, and now Bo is a coma from which he may never emerge.
Days of our Lives Recap: Setting The Record Straight
Back in Salem, Johnny (Carson Boatman) groused to Chanel (Raven Bowens) that Wendy was screening his calls and refusing to respond to his text messages. “But didn’t she hear we were drugged — like everyone else who ate those tainted biscuits?” wondered Chanel.
She hadn’t. But not for Johnny’s lack of trying. Johnny bemoaned his predicament; Chanel suggested that he had Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) to thank for it. Enter gossipmonger Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to stir the pot and annoy the supposed engaged couple.
Over in Seattle, Wendy and Tripp (Lucas Adams) headed out for a night to frolic on the pier only to return in light of Tripp tripping his way onto a Ferris Wheel and rather bruising both his side and his ego.
Tech genius Wendy doctored the doctor, and the air grew thick with sexual tension. Soon it was dissipated by Chanel’s call to Tripp. Boy did she have a story for him. To quote Wendy, “Sounds so crazy it must be true.” Too bad things have progressed to the point that they can’t “just go back to the way there were before,” no matter how badly Johnny might want that.
