What's going on with Everett!Bobby?
The Tuesday, April 2 episode of Days of Our Lives recap photos reveal two couples sharing food and kisses while in bed and baking. Meanwhile, Chad plays the blame himself game and Marlena hypnotizes Everett. What disturbing version of himself does he see while he’s under?
At Sweet Bits, Johnny (Carson Boatman) offers his culinary help to Chanel (Raven Bowens). But the newlyweds do not get much baking done. At Ava’s place, Ava (Tamara Braun) and Harris (Steve Burton) share a cozy and hot day in bed. Meanwhile, at the Horton house, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) opens up to Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) about Everett (Blake Berris). At the hospital, Marlena (Deidre Hall) hypnotizes Everett who has an intense and disturbing session. Chad visits Abby’s grave before heading over to Julie’s. (Jamie Martin Mann [Tate] weighs in on leaving DAYS here)
A smiley Ava with a happy Harris (yes, Happy!) talks about her son being safe, her business partner is behind bars. She is free as a bird. She’s right where she wants to be. Harris is, too.
Johnny and Chanel are in Horton Town Square. Chanel is super tired because she’s handling the bakery all her own.
Johnny decides to help her with a last-minute order
They take a minute to talk about their honeymoon. They rather stay close to Salem instead of going to Italy. So they decide to take Sarah up on her offer of going to the Horton cabin on Smith Island.
Johnny and Chanel make a good attempt at trying to bake together..
But the newlyweds that they are, they end up getting close. Johnny and Chanel end up going into the storage room so no health codes are violated!
Everett!Bobby finally has his first hypnotherapy session with Marlena. He’s nervous and afraid of what he might find out, but he’s there.
Marlena puts Everett under in order to try to access memories that may not have been available to him or Marlena. She tells him to go to a happy place.
He’s somewhere where there’s a gazebo and his mother is there. Later, the session escalates.
Under hypnosis, he sees this darker version. He doesn’t feel safe. He feels his mother did something.
Marlena brings him out of hypnosis. Everett is cagey about what he saw while under hypnosis, but he does agree to come back to Marlena for more sessions.
Chad visits Abby’s grave, he brought Abby belated Easter flowers, told her about the kids’ Easter. He also told her about the fire.
Elsewhere, Stephanie shows up at the Horton house to help Julie with the interior design phase of restoring the iconic house.
They end up talking about Everett. Stephanie tells the story of possibly being the other woman while Everett was married to Jada. And that Jada thinks she missed or didn’t want to see the signs.
Julie supports her. And says that she should think about herself and take care of herself.
Chad arrives at the Horton house to see Thomas and Charlotte’s new rooms.
Later, Stephanie runs into Everett at The Pub where he tells her about his first hypnosis session. He tells her he saw something that scared the hell out of him.
Meanwhile, Chad breaks down with Julie when he takes the blame for the fire, and for whatever hell Clyde is unleashing now that he’s free. Julie gives him a big ol’ Horton hug.
And she says that the family loves him and while she may have blamed him for a split second for the fire, she no longer does.
Ava and Harris made it through an entire episode happy and in bed and no drama. They even decide to go to The Bistro where they can make some pasta.
