On today’s Days of our Lives, Sloan Petersen made it clear that her loyalty lies with Colin, his criminal actions be damned. It obviously didn’t please Eric.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
In addition, an unforgiving Chanel (Raven Bowens) insisted that Talia (Aketra Sevillian) is arrested, Gabi (Camila Banus) visited Li (Remington Hoffman) and gives him the final kiss-off, and Johnny (Carson Boatman) learned that he has competition for Wendy’s heart (Victoria Grace) but still made a move. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Days of our Lives: Sloan Petersen Is Greeted By Quite The Sight
While Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) stood below and just to the right of the Salem Inn discussing his insistence on there being no more secrets between them of any kind, Colin (Jasper Newman) and Talia struggled for control of a gun on the hotel’s roof and wound up plunging over the side and onto the cobbles below.
Sloan ran to render aid to her brother while Eric assisted Jada (Elia Cantu) in removing the crushed awning from Talia’s prone form.

The injured parties were rushed to nearby University Hospital and arrived minutes after Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Paulina (Jackée Harry) came onto the scene desperately seeking further updates on Abe’s (James Reynolds) condition.
Sloan attempted to choke out an apology — more so to a boiling Rafe (Galen Gering) than victims Chanel and Paulina — before getting an abrupt dismissal. Eric, in turn, got filled in on Abe’s grievous injury and availed himself to a barely consolable, vengeance-seeking Paulina.
Once Eric wheeled Paulina off towards the chapel, Chanel gave Rafe her statement and bristled when he opined that Talia saved her life. “Like Hell she did,” bellowed Chanel, adding, “I wouldn’t have been on the damn roof in the first place if it wasn’t for Talia, Mama never would have been in danger, and Colin couldn’t have done any of this if it wasn’t for Talia worming her way into our lives, setting us up.” What’s more, “she still needs to pay! One way or another, Talia Hunter is not getting away with this.”
Speaking of Talia, she got quite the scolding from her big sister and attempted to excuse Colin’s attempted murder rampage as something that “literally just got out of hand.” Jada demanded to know if Talia still had feelings for Colin after everything he’d done, but Talia wasn’t sure.
Days of our Lives Recap: Sloan Petersen Supports Her Brother
Elsewhere, Colin’s hospital room to be precise, Sloan learned from her brother’s attending physician that he’d be fine despite the nasty spill — thank G-d for that awning.
Upon being left alone for a private chat, Sloan took Colin to task for his actions, but he was hardly cowed. “We’re different, Sloan. I can’t forget what happened, how everything was torn apart. I’ll never forget. And I’d do it all again. I’d do it all.”
Enter a seriously peeved Jada to handcuff Colin to his bed. In response, Colin begged Sloan to represent him. Though she initially balked, Sloan eventually declared that “You’re my brother. Nothing changes that…Of course, I’m going to help you.”
Eric, who’d overheard the exchange, could do little more than stand around and give Sloan the stink-eye.
As for Talia, Chanel yelled for her blood…or at least her immediate arrest. Taking it upon herself to do the deed, Jada returned to Talia’s bedside, produced a set of cuffs, and read her sister her rights.
DOOL Recap: Drink It In
Meanwhile, at the DiMera mansion, Johnny returned home just in time to help steady a slightly soused Gabi and to learn of her and Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) engagement, and to gaze upon the majesty that is Gabi’s new ring.
Afterward, Johnny wondered whether or not Wendy had been in the office earlier that day and Gabi, having racked her brain, answered in the negative. That answer took the wind out of Johnny’s sails and necessitated him explaining to Gabi that if Wendy wasn’t at work, that could only mean that she was still in Seattle with Tripp (Lucas Adams).
Gabi suggested that Johnny put up a fight for his beloved, but he blithely suggested that he couldn’t compete if it “wasn’t in the same stadium.” Still, Gabi pushed. “Hope and love, that’s what makes the world go round. Forget that at your peril Johnny D!”
Opposite this, an enraged Wendy made her way inside her apartment and not so much greeted Li as vomited upon him all the tragedies that befell her on her journey home from Seattle.
First, there was the drunken frat guy who emptied his beer all over and caused the plane to be diverted to South Dakota, and then there was the unscheduled stopover in Boise. What an awful two days it has been for her.
After giving his little sister a modicum of a hard time, Li asked if she planned on alerting Johnny to her return. Her answer? She’s not sure.
Li assumed that it was because she still feared he was interested in someone else, but Wendy revealed that it was she who was unsure of the gentleman she preferred — Johnny or Tripp, Tripp or Johnny.
Wendy groused that she hates not knowing what [make that who] it is that she truly wants and that she’s well aware that she has to choose between the young men. That prompted Li to suggest that she doesn’t actually have to choose…not anytime soon, anyway. And as for Johnny and Tripp, they’ll both wait because Wendy herself is worth waiting for. [Awwww. Brotherly love!]
Days of our Lives Recap: Visitor’s Say
Color Li all kinds of surprised to find Gabi standing at his door. She granted that she was probably the last person he wanted to see, leading Li to correct that she was the last person he expected to see.
Gabi explained that she was there on a mission, something that she wanted to do herself and in person, namely return the divorce papers that she’d signed and relay her engagement news.
But Gabi had yet two further goals to achieve. The first was to convince Li that he’d soon find the right woman for him, and the second was to part on good terms.
Li didn’t seem too enamored of the idea of putting himself back out there, but he did magnanimously accept her bolstering words and her parting peck on the cheek.
DOOL Recap: Debate Club
Back at the DiMera manse, Johnny resolved to call Wendy and was surprised to hear ringing on the other side of the front door. Coincidence? Hardly! It was Wendy who had come to visit.
An elated Johnny leaned in for a kiss, and Wendy leaned back the other way, making for a slightly awkward start to the even more awkward convo that was Wendy explaining that, though she’s really glad they got the proposal stuff behind them because she likes him and likes being with him, she likes Tripp too.
Wendy declared that it wasn’t a competition per see, but Johnny took up the challenge that it actually was and planted quite the scorching kiss on his lady. Score one for Johnny D!
