When Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) darkened the DiMera crypt, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) was sure that she was seeing a ghost…the ghost of her dead lover Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), to be precise.

Before Stefan had the chance to explain who he really was or to ask the strange lady cowering before him who the Hell Jake was, Ava did a runner — right into the arms of Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), her Knight In Shining Armor.
Johnny convinced Ava to accompany him back to the scene of her haunting, and both were put out that “Jake” wasn’t still hanging around. Ava thought this proved EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) theory that she was cracking up, while Johnny suspected that his father was attempting to gaslight Ava into madness.
Either way, Johnny insisted that Ava should flee from either her fears or the DiMera manse or from him. To punctuate his concern, Johnny pulled Ava into a passionate kiss. That would for sure calm her down and get her thinking straight.

Despite herself, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) likes Li Shin (Remington Hoffman). She really, really likes him. Heck, she might even love him. So yes, she will marry him! Much rejoicing is done by Li.
Days of our Lives Recap: Best Laid Plans
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is not pleased. She ordered her on-call mad scientist to condition Stefan to love Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and only Chloe Lane, and she even provided Stefan with her address and sent him on his merry way.
So, when she went to confront “that cheating whore” and her newly resurrected brother, she was furious to find Chloe entertaining Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). To say that Rolf got an earful afterward would be an understatement.

If there’s one thing that Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) knows, it’s love. And her intuition is telling her that amour is in the air…or at least it is whenever Johnny and Ava are near one another. Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) poo-poos his wife’s notion; one day, he’ll learn not to.
DAYS Spoilers Recap: A Vision Before Me
After Jake’s makeshift memorial service, Gabi takes it upon herself to stay behind and converse with Stefan’s plaque. Color her all kinds of confused when a man resembling both the love of her life and the man she attempted to substitute him with suddenly appears before her. Is she going mad like Ava?!
