EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerrigel) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) did her wrong, and now Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) must punish them — and how better to do that than to make sure that the family company stays in the hands of an in-law whose use of the DiMera name is spotty at best (though we here at Soap Hub do continue to add it)?
After her rivals beat a hasty retreat, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) — see? — was all over Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), ostensibly to celebrate her win, but really it was just because she can’t keep her hands off him.
But don’t get any ideas, Jake! It’s Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) whom Gabi will be seeing that night for dinner, drinks, and little something extra. Jealous much?

Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) isn’t exactly eager to get back together with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) just so that she can break his heart again, and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) isn’t exactly jumping at the chance to rehitch herself to Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) wagon — but if we were taking bets, our money would be on the latter couple going the distance.

Given that he likes to surround himself with less than savory females, it’s not too difficult to believe that Jake might align himself with sister dearest Kristen — and that’s what Kristen’s counting on. Plus, the two of them teaming up would really stick in Gabi’s craw, and isn’t that the important thing here?
