The DAYS spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 2, 2022, features Kristen putting the damper on the Johnsons’ celebration and Allie Horton being denied her happily ever after.

Not only is it Valentine’s Day (still!), it’s also Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) wedding anniversary…but the two are in quite the pickle. The question that confronts them: should they or shouldn’t they devour the chicken dish that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) prepared for them?
On the one hand, Kristen promised that she hadn’t poisoned it. On the other, Kristen promised that she hadn’t poisoned it. That woman hasn’t been trustworthy since about 1995.
Despite themselves, the couple eats; eat, and reminiscence. But just when things seemed brightest, in came Kristen to twirl her mustache and admit that she may have told a falsehood where the food was concerned.

Can Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) ever find it in his heart to forgive Allie (Lindsay Arnold) her affair? After all, she cheated on him, like, a whole month ago and has been faithful ever since. Doesn’t that count for something, wondered Roman Brady (Josh Taylor)?
No, no it doesn’t, said Tripp. In point of fact, he’s done, D.O.N.E. with Allie. Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) can have her! Boo-hoo, cried Allie. Who would have thought I’d have to pay for my sin? This never happened to my mother!

Once Upon A Time…and that time was the early 1980s…Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) was a Count in title only, and his first marriage to chanteuse Liz Chandler had ended in disaster. Enter Renée DuMonde. They fell madly in love, believed themselves to be kin, and wound up falling into the arms of others.
Tony thinks that’s all ancient history — but he’s in for a rude awakening courtesy of Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). That girl’s more than sure that she’s Renée, and that Tony is her destiny. Awkwardness abounded when Tony and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) stormed Kristen’s stronghold and discovered Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) and “SarRenée” in conversation.
