The DAYS spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 30, 2022, features a question of custody, a question of conditioning, and a question of competence.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) was fit to be tied. No way, NO WAY is he going to even entertain Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) demand for full custody of Rachel (Finley Rose Slater). Well, he entertained it — but quickly decided that it was a no-go…and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) had a little something to do with that.

Turns out Chloe’s still a little sore over Kristen threatening her with a letter opener — wouldn’t you be? — and once that event was shared, Brady decided that he’d fight Kristen tooth and nail. But would Chloe do him the really big favor of testifying that Kristen got all stabby happy, please, and thank you?
Well…no, no, Chloe wouldn’t mind. Sure, it would paint an even bigger target on her back, but it was worth it. Too bad Rachel didn’t see it that way. The only thing she sees is a woman trying to usurp her mommy’s rightful place.
DOOL Recap: Johnny Be Good
When shirtless, sweaty Johnny (Carson Boatman) came upon Ava Vitali Fake DiMera (Tamara Braun) pouring her heart out to Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) recently-installed memorial plaque, he had the good sense to put a top on and the empathy to offer Ava his ear to bend. This, this is what a good DiMera looks like. He didn’t even laugh in Ava’s face when she swore that she saw his dead uncle standing before her.

Days of our Lives Recap: Weird Science
Kristen doesn’t feel as though she’s asking for much. Just for her life to go swimmingly and for Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) to condition Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) to love Chloe and only Chloe; Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) who?
Rolf readily takes on the assignment — both to prove that he can do it and because Kristen scares him mightily.
DOOL Recap: Intercourseous Interruptus
Thanks to Wei Shin’s (Donald Li) less-than-perfect timing, Gabi and Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) went from indulging in some afternoon delight — on top of a conference table, no less — to wondering whether or not the former would have a job a few hours hence. Talk about a buzzkill.
DAYS Spoilers Recap: True To Form
Despite putting on a concerned front, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) couldn’t really give a damn about Ava. The only thing that he’s interested in is using her obvious crazy — a DiMera back from the dead? Pa-leese! — to get her excluded from voting Jake’s proxy and to ensure Gabi’s removal from the top spot at DiMera Enterprises. For some reason, everyone seemed surprised by EJ’s underhanded tactics.
