In the Days of our Lives recap for November 29, 2023, Steve’s attempts to send Konstantin packing hit a major snag when the villain started spouting the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
In addition, Chad got exactly what his black heart desired, and Alex gallantly defended Theresa’s honor. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what happened.
At University Hospital, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) were floored by Steve (Stephen Nichols) suggesting that Konstantin (John Kapelos) was like one of those firefighters who started the very fires that they combat. How could he say that about the man who risked life and limb rescuing Victoria?
Oh yes, Konstantin’s a hero. But is it possible that he arranged the kidnapping and rescue to ingratiate himself further into Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) life? And not for nothing, but Maggie’s a recent widow with a considerable fortune. Perhaps that’s why Konstantin is sticking around.

Sarah was aghast. Sure, she’d expressed concern to Maggie about Konstantin. And, of course, Konstantin could have been hiding in the wings listening to the convo. And, her feelings about the man did change post Victoria’s return — but to actually stage a kidnapping? No, she just couldn’t believe it. Steve, on the other hand, was sure that that had been the villain’s grand plan…and it had worked like a charm!
Speaking of Konstantin, he found himself on the spot with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) demanding to know why he was accosting Theresa (Emily O’Brien). Also, why is their relationship, or lack thereof, any of his damn business.
Maggie put in an appearance and demanded to know the same, forcing Konstantin to beg everyone’s pardon. He only accused Theresa of being a gold digger out of concern for the family. That was his bad.
Soon Steve was on the scene calling Konstantin out on his web of lies and offering him a trade: trot on back to Greece and never show his face there again, and he won’t tell Maggie what he learned in Greece. Hardly shaken, Konstantin told Maggie the truth about the tablecloth and the loan that Victor gave him. (No, it had not been forgiven.) As for the kidnapping, well, Konstantin had something else to confess. He claimed he knew who took the baby.
Meanwhile, Chad (Billy Flynn) did his utmost to convince Stephanie (Abigail Klein) that he was finally cool with Everett (Blake Berris). At the same time, Xander (Paul Telfer) was doing his dirty work and firing Mr. Lynch. When Everett asked for an explanation, Xander blamed Gwen (Emily O’Brien).
Everett pouted for a hot second. Then, he delighted in leaving Xander with an entire paper to put together, and rushed over to update Stephanie. She took the news hard, especially when she heard it had much to do with her PR strategy. For his part, Chad stood around and silently beamed.
Unfortunately for the scheming DiMera, Everett got ahold of Gwen’s number and called her to set up a meeting to discuss his firing at “her” instigation.
Having gotten the heck out of the Kiriakis mansion, Alex and Theresa blanched at running into Xander. As usual, Xander made nasty insinuations about Theresa and her motives for dating Alex, and that netted him a sock in the jaw. Sarah raced to her manfriend’s rescue, and Theresa thanked Alex for defending her honor.
