Days of our Lives Recap: Living In Sin

Much to his surprise, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) opened his door to find Theresa (Emily O’Brien) bearing gifts. What better way to christen his new set of plates than to heat up leftovers?

Over dinner, Theresa made mention of her living situation or decided lack thereof. She was struggling to meet her dues at the Salem Inn (what with being “strapped” and all). Nobody was exactly itching to extend her an invitation to move in with them.

Alex had the bright idea that Theresa should play house with him! Of course, she jumped at the chance…but only after she made Alex promise he didn’t think she’d been hinting at such an offer. Perish the thought!

Alex contemplated that he might have made a serious error in judgment (YA THINK?!). Meanwhile, Theresa raced back to her room to begin packing. No sooner had she got her wardrobe settled than Konstantin (John Kapelos) came knocking at her door. What on Earth was he doing there? Hadn’t she told him to stay put in Greece?

DAYS Recap: Case Management

Meanwhile, Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) got down to some serious business. For once and for all, was he prepared to play hardball to win custody of his daughter? Yes…maybe…probably. Did they really have to be so hard on Sarah (Linsey Godfrey)? Do they really have to bring up her history of lying about babies’ paternity? And, worst of all, her struggles with mental health?

Yes, yes they did and do. But, only if Xander is seriously interested in snagging full custody. And, he’s got the night to think it all over and make a decision one way or the other.

Opposite this, Justin (Wally Kurth) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) also talked strategy. More precisely, they talked about what Sloan and Xander’s strategy would most likely be. Sarah couldn’t fathom that her ex would play hardball, but Justin insisted custody battles bring out the worst in people.

Sarah stomped off home where she got to reap the benefits of a meal whipped up by Konstantin (baklava, Victor’s favorite. Cue the tear falling down Maggie’s cheek). Justin remained behind to yell at Xander that he and Sarah needed to do what was right for the baby. Xander, in turn, phoned Sloan and told her he was ready to play dirty.

DOOL Recap: Infantile Struggles

Back at Sloan’s abode, she learned from Melinda (Tina Huang) that private adoption might not be her and Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) best bet. Turns out, people were frowning over her messy legal wranglings with Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Paulina (Jackée Harry), and her defense of Colin. Sloan whined that Eric was desperate to become a father and that she must make that happen.

Speaking of Eric, he and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) got to chatting at the hospital and were mistaken for a couple for the hundred thousandth time. Oh, how it still made them giggle. Of interesting note: Nicole requested a copy of the genetic analysis run on her baby.

Days of our Lives Recap: News Travels

At the Brady Pub, Roman (Josh Taylor) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) were not happy to learn of Dimitri’s (Peter Porte) escape and how he manhandled Kayla. That madman deserved to pay! Steve wanted the satisfaction, but Kayla managed to talk him around.
