In the Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, December 7, 2023, Jada and Rafe discuss cohabitating and the former gets a little wistful for the man who left her behind…a man who’s a dead ringer for the one who left Stephanie behind.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
In addition, John and Steve got a clue, Konstantin spun quite the web for Maggie, and Theresa proved that she’s not as smart a criminal as she thinks she is. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what happened.
When Two Become One
Rafe (Galen Gering) had a question for Jada (Elia Cantu). Why not move in with him? After all, EVERYBODY already knows their business — from Roman (Josh Taylor) down to the desk sergeant at the precinct.
Jada was severely taken aback…both by Rafe’s suggestion and the fact that he wasn’t joking. He wondered what gives. Does she find it too impulsive? Too soon? “Kinda.” If nothing else, she just didn’t realize that they were there yet.

Rafe revealed that he’d been thinking about it for a while now. Not a “while” while, but at least since Gabi (Camila Banus) *ahem* left. Oh, how he’d love to share his big empty house with someone whom he loves.
Jada granted that it was a tempting offer. But, she hasn’t lived with someone in a really long time — the last person being her ex-husband (and her sister Talia, but who wants to remember her, right?). Oh yes, her ex-husband. The man who proposed to her while she was working security with a ring atop tiramisu.
For his part, Rafe understood Jada’s hesitation. After all, he’d thought his marriage would be till death do them part…all three of them. Jada cooed that she still believes in love — but also caution. Later, a scroll through her photos ended with her peeping at a photo of her and former mister…who looked suspiciously like one Everett Lynch (Blake Berris).
Caught Red Handed
Speaking of Everett, he was the topic of Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Chad’s (Billy Flynn) most recent argument. Is it true that Chad bought Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) stake in The Spectator just so he could fire Everett? Yes, yes it is.
Stephanie termed Chad’s actions amoral and underhanded and insisted that he’d left her appalled. What’s more, he’s a “jealous idiot,” who’d acted in the same pathetic way with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). Also, the descriptors “sneaky” and “mean” were bandied about, and Steph insisted that what Chad did was unforgivable.
Chad’s declaration that he did what he did for them didn’t wash, and Stephanie made sure to throw in Chad’s face that Everett had been willing to marry her. Irony of ironies, the guy who “ghosted” her wanted to make her his wife, but not the man that she’s living with. No, all Chad was interested in was stringing her along and wasting her time.
Off that stinging confrontation, Chad tucked his tail between his legs and paid Everett a visit. His old job was his again but on one condition. He must answer the following truthfully: Is he there to win Stephanie back? Yes, yes he is. And with what appeared to be the very same ring he used to propose to Jada. Eesh.
Bad Company
No sooner had Alex and Theresa (Emily O’Brien) started eating their burgers and fries at the Brady Pub than Konstantin (John Kapelos) and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) entered, causing the two to lose their appetites.
Before the two could beat a hasty retreat, Konstantin asked them to stay long enough for him to apologize to Theresa. He’s very, very sorry for calling her a gold-digger. He’s terribly ashamed and knows now that she could never be so deceitful and dishonest. Can she ever forgive him?
Theresa’s lips said yes, but as she told Alex when they returned home, she didn’t believe Konstantin in the slightest. As far as she was concerned, he only apologized to get Maggie back on side. She also accused him of targeting Maggie for her recently inherited wealth. That disgusted Alex. Going after someone for their money? How low can you go?
That stung Theresa. But not enough to actually result in a confession. Instead, she initiated another round of lovemaking on the sofa — despite the maid giving Alex’s room a refresh — then cocooned herself in the very same jacket she wore when “borrowing” wee Victoria.
Just outside the apartment, Alex greeted Chad and handed over Stephanie’s copy of the apartment key. She won’t be needing that anymore.
Opposite this, John (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) managed to get hold of security footage of a jacketed Theresa, baby in hand. Unfortunately for the men, the said footage was just a tad too grainy to really make out. Luckily, the ISA has software for that!
Dos and Don’ts
Meanwhile, Konstantin informed Maggie that he wouldn’t be able to return to Greece. Ever. The Greek mafia forbade it. And that’s a real shame because his visa is about to expire. The only hope he has of staying in the country is to get a job and apply for a work visa, request asylum, or marry a U.S. citizen. Hint, hint.
