Days of our Lives Recaps: Monday, January 17
Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) accuses Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) of cheating on her. Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) is dubious, but she none the less phones her father and begs him to set the story straight.
In the aftermath of catching “EJ DiMera” (Dan Feuerriegel) – really a possessed Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) in disguise – accosting Abigial Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller), Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) forgoes exonerating his brother, and instead encourages the judge overseeing the case to lock EJ up.
Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) delivers equally damning testimony. EJ threatens to kill Lucas in open court…Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) plot to use Johnny’s obvious interest in Gabi to their advantage.
DAYS Recaps: Tuesday, January 18
Abigail informs Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) that she’s located the pilot believed to have spirited Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) out of Salem. While Abigail and Xander set off to interrogate the man, Sarah seemingly appears on Gwen’s doorstep.
Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) discuss her one-night stand with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering)…Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) playacting bears fruit; her Sister Mary Elizabeth is accepted into the convent that’s sheltering Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). After getting his Kayla settled, Steve returns to his hotel room – and is followed close behind by the subject of his search!
DOOL Recaps: Wednesday, January 19
Under questioning, the DiMera pilot cops to having flown Sarah, but refuses to disclose the destination until his handsomely rewarded…Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) presents Gwen with her salvation – a mask that will transform her into Sarah. At Ava’s urging, Gwen dons the creation, and visits Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers). Xander’s arrival interrupts the mother/”daughter” reunion.

Rafe explains to Nicole that he’s being framed for corruption – and that he thinks Ava is responsible. Her motive? She knows about him and Nicole slept together…Kayla is caught snooping through the Reverend Mother’s desk but manages to cover…An armed Kristen forces Steve to account for his presence then attacks him.
Days of our Lives Recaps: Thursday, January 20
EJ insists on taking the stand in his own defense, and Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) delights bringing up his past misdeeds. The judge hands down his verdict: EJ is guilty as charged.
“Sarah” reveals that she’s leaving down posthaste and insists that she never wants to see Xander again…Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) recalls Kristen’s impersonation of her and the plan she concocted to deposit her on a desert island. This spurs Abigail into confronting “Sarah” and demanding to know who it really is standing before her.
“Johnny” suggests that he and Chad align their interests…Gabi pays the former a visit in hopes of getting him on her side. Johnny pulls her into a kiss.
DOOL Recaps: Friday, January 21
Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) catches Gabi and “Johnny” smooching and denounces her twin…Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) opens up to Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) about her heartbreak over Johnny and her dalliance with Allie.
Craig surprises Chloe and Nancy. He swears that he isn’t sleeping with another woman…Abigail’s accusation that Sarah isn’t who she claims to be fails to hold water …Kristen confronts Kayla at the convent and implies that she murdered Steve. The women tussle over a gun, and it fires!
