Get ready for tears, turmoil and and some serious heartbreak on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) next week.
After a tumultuous year-and-a-half run as Ciara Brady, Vivian Jovanni is leaving DAYS on Friday, May 26.
Jovanni made her daytime debut on October 2015, when the character, previously played by Lauren Boles, was aged to coincide with Peter Reckell’s return as Bo Brady.
A pivotal member of the next generation of Bradys, Ciara quickly became the focal point of the soap’s teen story. However, it was always teen trauma. Poor Ciara was kidnapped and later raped by her longtime friend, Chase.
Sadly, Ciara never found true love, let alone any genuine happiness. Now, the character is leaving Salem. Here are 3 things to expect.
It’s A Surprise Exit
Family and friends won’t see this one coming. Ciara will catch everyone off guard, when she simply announces that she’s leaving town for the summer.
Will she reveal her plans? Tell anyone where she’s headed? Will Hope (Kristian Alfonso), Theo (Kyler Pettis) and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) try to talk her out of it?

Bye-Bye Mama
Jovanni’s always had a special bond with TV mom, Kristian Alfonso. So fans won’t want to miss the moment Ciara tells her mother she’s leaving town. Hope, of course, won’t want to see her beloved daughter go.
She’s the only child she has left in Salem, and, since Bo’s death, they’ve grown extremely close. Expect a poignant, teary-eyed goodbye between them.

As for Jovanni’s final scenes with Kyler Pettis, these are must-see moments for Ciara and Theo fans. Best friends since childhood, the pair have been through a lot together.
Originally, Theo was smitten with Ciara, but she rebuffed him romantically. Later, Ciara fell for Theo, but by that time he had already moved on with Claire.
Look for the twosome to come to an understanding and share a happy, yet bittersweet last scene together. But will it be everything DAYS fans are hoping for? Tune in to find out.
