Should Rafe Just Man Up And Fess Up On Days Of Our Lives (DOOL)?

Hope and Rafe were on a break on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL). So Rafe slept with Sami. Why not? They were both sad. And single.

But then Rafe (Galen Garing) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) got back together and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) overheard Rafe and Sami discussing their tryst. At the top of their lungs. In a public park. (Guess all those years of Sami talking to herself and not being overheard convinced her she lives in a bubble.)

Ciara wondered whether or not she should spill the beans, then decided the news would only needless hurt her mom. So Ciara is neutralized. But should Rafe go ahead and ‘fess up anyway? Almost 8,000 fans had some pretty strong opinions on the subject!

Confession Is Good For the Soul
Tell her about it, chant 86% of you! You’re an upstanding guy, Rafe. Upstanding guys tell the truth. Especially before they tie the knot. Hope has dated some pretty bad guys, going all the way back to that sleazy lawyer, Larry, up through her most recent loser, Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) — the one who tried to kill her, and the one who didn’t.

You do not want to join that crew. You were supposed to be the exception. Tell Hope everything! And remind her that you were on a break….

What She Don’t Know, Won’t Hurt Her
If Ciara doesn’t want to hurt her mom, why should Rafe do the honors, counter 13% of the viewers? He didn’t cheat. Technically. And it’s not like Sami is even around, or wants Rafe back. The sex was a non-earthshaking event. (Sorry, Rafe, no offense).

So why not, like Queen Elsa, keep the past in the past and move forward. Marry the girl. Live happily ever after. Sure, Hope might eventually find out–this is Salem, after all–but you don’t have to be the one to tell her.
