On Days of our Lives, it seems that all the gubernatorial candidates need to come from the same town. Abe Carver declined to run after Stephanie Johnson’s focus groups suggested he wasn’t what the voters for looking for, so he suggested Paulina Price Carver do it instead.

Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) also gave up a daughter and kept it a secret, but at least she’s actually held political office, 42% of you point out. She’s also done horrible things like prosecuting criminals. Which some voters outside Salem might actually find to be a good thing!

How about EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), 28% of the fans suggest. He’s tall — voters love tall candidates. He’s good-looking — voters love good-looking candidates. He’s rich — voters love candidates who don’t steal public money, and EJ would have no reason to do so. And ignore the English accent. He was born in the U.S. We even saw it!

Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) didn’t give away a daughter. In fact, she lost a daughter. Voters love grieving mothers! She also tried to torture Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) into killing that daughter. And there were other crimes. Also, a past as a prostitute. She and Paulina would be an even match, 25% suggest.

Only 5% are pulling for Li Shin (Remington Hoffman). We don’t really know much about him. Except that he wants something from Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus). When that doesn’t work out, he can bury himself in…politics?
