The DiMeras have been haunting Days of our Lives since the early 1980s. We’ve met fathers, sons, daughters, grandchildren, and even long-dead patriarchs. It’s tough to pick a favorite, but you all had no trouble making your voices heard.
Days of our Lives Polling: Grieving Widower
Over half of the audience, 54%, went with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Maybe it’s because he recently lost his wife. Maybe it’s because he recently lost his company. Maybe it’s because he tried to talk to his kids and they just stared blankly off into space, though adorably.
Or maybe it’s because he’s the only DiMera currently on the Days of our Lives canvas not plotting to have someone destroyed. Of course, that’s before he finds out who killed Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller).
DAYS: All Shook Up
A smaller 20% of viewers like their DiMera brothers scheming. So you voted for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerreigel). Though isn’t it ironic that, at the moment, EJ actually isn’t guilty of the crime for which he was most recently charged. That humanizes him somewhat. Also, he does seem to love his mother.
Days of our Lives: Dynamic Duo
Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) have been apart at this point longer than they’ve been together. But 11% of fans are still happy to watch them do anything, mainly because they seem to be having so much fun doing it.

DOOL: Out of the Blue
Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) is a relatively new addition to the clan. But for 10% of Days of our Lives fans, he’s the best one yet. It’s nice to see a blue-collar royal, instead of one to the manor born. And he and his late twin seem to have a similar taste in women.
Junior Achievement
A scant 5% voted for Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), who seems to have inherited the worst traits of all his family members. He’s rich and entitled and expects to get what he wants the minute he wants it. But he also doesn’t seem capable of spinning any interesting and underhanded plots to get it!
