Everybody loves Kayla Brady Johnson on Days of our Lives. Well, OK, not the guy who recently tried to kill her. And the other guy who recently tried to kill her. But pretty much everybody else. Which Kayla is your favorite, however?
The majority of viewers, 48%, love their Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) best when she is in doctor mode. What kind of doctor? Well, what kind of doctor do you need? She can diagnose a tropical disease. She can set a broken bone.
She can deliver a baby, and she can perform surgery in a pinch. Sure, we can assume she’s an emergency room specialist. With a lot of extra skills. But she also seems to see patients for appointments…and follow-up care. Let’s just call Kayla our Sweetness of Mercy and leave it at that.
Who needs doctoring when you can put on your best trashy outfit and pretend to be your stepson’s mobster mama? Or go in the other direction and play Sister Mary Elizabeth with Father Steve at your side? Yup, a smaller 38% of you would be happy if Kayla ditched the medical scrubs and spent all her time on wacky capers with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols). Some couples only go for role-playing in the bedroom. These two let us in on the fun, too!
Kayla fought as hard for Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) life as she does for the lives of her biological kids, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Kline) and Joey Johnson. Heck, remember when she and Steve took care of one of Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) misplaced kids, Benjy? Or the baby called Pocket, who turned out to be Philip Kiriakis? The point is, Kayla is supermom, not just to her brood, but for all of Salem. And 14% of voters wouldn’t trade that side of her for anything.
