Sarah Horton was good with Rex...once upon a time.
Sarah Horton first returned to Days of our Lives as Rex Brady’s fiancée. She soon learned he’d cheated on her and fathered a baby with Mimi. Sarah and Rex broke up. She moved on with Xander so Rex left town.
Now Rex (Kyle Lowder) is back. And Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) has divorced Xander. And threw herself at Rex. Does this pairing deserve a second chance? Here’s what fans think.
A quarter of you, 25%, see no future for Sarah and her ex-fiancé. Rex cheated on her once, he is bound to do it again. Sure, he was all sweet to her the morning after their tryst, but that’s just because he didn’t want to risk it not happening again. Rex told Sarah he was at her service. He’s at a lot of women’s service, though.
This could work, 36% of you are more optimistic. Rex has grown up a lot. He’s matured. Losing his mother drove home how short life is. Rex wants to straighten out and fly right. And Sarah is the perfect woman to help him. They haven’t broken up nearly as many times as some of Salem’s other couples. They’ve got a few more coming.
This is just a fling, 39% of the audience dismisses it. Rex knows it. Sarah knows it. We know it. Sarah admitted she was trying to get over Xander (Paul Telfer). And we also all know that she is not over Xander. Sarah might think Rex can help her forget him.
But he can’t. No one can. Sarah went back to Xander after he did the most awful thing possible to her. He let her think Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) daughter was hers. If Sarah can get past that, she can get past anything. Bye-bye, Rex!
