If you’re not supposed to treat family members, then 63% of you figure it’s equally as unethical to treat those who’ve tortured your family members for decades. Has Marlena forgotten everything that Jan did to Belle.
Most recently the Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) Devil-assisted rape, and who can forget the Belle wedding day kidnapping? If she wants to help Jan, Marlena can refer her to a trusted and capable colleague. Belle is right. This is too much to deal with from her own mommy!

Days of our Lives: Quality Control
Who better to assess whether or not Jan is really sincere in her rehabilitation than Doc Evans herself, 22% of the audience reasonably points out. Jan will likely have no problem snowing another psychiatrist, but Marlena isn’t so easily fooled. Not only does she know what’s at stake if Jan goes back to her evil, evil ways, but she’s had multiple up close and personal visits with the Devil herself. So she knows what to look for.
DAYS: Split the Difference
How about this, 15% propose: Marlena can consult with the other therapist treating Jan. This way, Belle gets the best of both worlds. Her mother isn’t Jan’s primary doctor, but she can step in if ever it looks like Jan is going back to her old tricks. Because if that happens, no one in Salem is safe. Especially not Belle and her family.
