Jennifer Horton Deveraux admitted to Maggie Horton Kiriakis that she is back to taking pills on Days of our Lives. She wouldn’t go quite that far with Gwen Rizczech, who caught Jennifer about to pop an upper in her living room, and was actually sympathetic, offering her help.
Days of our Lives Polling
Jennifer wasn’t interested in Gwen’s help, though. But does this mean she’s hit rock bottom? Soap Hub asked, and here’s how you answered.
Jennifer Horton Deveraux Picture Perfect
Jennifer (Cady McClain) hiding her illicit pills behind Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s (Marci Miller) picture clued in 55% of you that Jennifer has finally lost all control. We realize she’s in pain from losing her daughter — again; you’d think she’d be used to it by now — and that she’s self-medicating just to get through the day. But this isn’t the way to do it. If Gwen (Emily O’Brien), who hates you, is honestly feeling bad for you, you know this has gotten way out of control.
Not Even Close
Oh, please, 28% of voters dismiss, this is nothing. As long as Jennifer can fake being together, then she hasn’t hit rock bottom. Sure, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) figured it out, but she’s an addict herself and knows all the tricks. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is still in the dark, as is Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Which means Jennifer has a long way to go before her problem is out of control and obvious to everyone.
Staying the Course
She’s spinning in place, and 17% of the audience honestly doesn’t know what to think. She’s not in a downward spiral, but she’s not getting any better, either. Jennifer needs to take a good, long look at herself, and she needs to decide to get help. Otherwise, no intervention will do her any good.
