What did you expect, 29% of the audience shrugs, he should have stood up for his son, but there was no way he would, considering who he is. DiMeras talk a good game about family, but when it comes down to the wire, it’s every man for himself.

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) loves Johnny, sure. But not so much that he’d be willing to put himself at risk. What would have been gained by him baring his soul? The story is already out now…who cares who knew what when? Bygones!
Days of our Lives EJ DiMera: Coward of the County
EJ is a big, old — albeit very well dressed — chicken, according to 44% of you. He let his son accept a punishment that should have been his. He not only knew, as Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) pointed out, what Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton) had done for months, but also he made Johnny and Wendy (Victoria Grace) lie for him, too. He hurt many more people than Johnny did. Johnny was only looking out for his dad. EJ was looking out for himself. At Johnny’s expense. How would Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) feel about that?
