It’s fine, 63% of voters shrug. Sure, Lucas just confessed to kidnapping Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) daughter, and she might have some underlying issues with him. But this isn’t about Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).
This is about Abby (Marci Miller). And Marlena can be completely objective about her dear friends’ child having her throat cut. She won’t let it influence her interactions with Lucas!

It’s Salem, 26% of you remind. The place where doctors treat family members, cops investigate friends, and American laws carry no weight. So what if the mother of one of Lucas’s victims is now going to be the one to try and prove his innocence?
So what if the method she’s using is one that’s not admissible in court? So what if she could plant all sorts of fake memories or convince Lucas that he saw something he didn’t. It’s just another day at the Salem PD!

We realize that Lucas is desperate, 11% of the fans say, but, come on, man, think! Marlena can’t be objective about you right now! You are seriously asking for trouble! Even if she doesn’t think she’s out to get you, she doesn’t exactly love you right now. We know you’re not very bright. We’ve been watching you for decades. But focus for just a second – and just say no!
