Where Should Victor’s Life Lead on Days of Our Lives?

Victor’s been lying low on Days of Our Lives, ever since he appointed Deimos to take over the Kiriakis empire.

Obviously, things are going to change. Deimos has been spinning out of control for months, and actor Vincent Irizarry, who portrays him, is being written off the show.
It could mean Victor’s return to the Kiriakis family’s helm. Or he could appoint someone new to rule the roost and continue enjoying his semi-retirement. Soap Hub asked Days of Our Lives fans what you’d like to see for Victor moving forward. Some 5,500 of you weighed in, and the results were quite divided.

Return to Titan
Business rules, according to 37% of you, and you want Victor (John Aniston) to be on top of it, again. He led Titan Enterprises for decades, and you don’t see any reason why he shouldn’t continue doing so. Passing the torch to Deimos was a huge mistake. Righting all the wrongs his impulsive little brother made is going to be a huge task, and it will take someone with Victor’s expertise to handle it. He’s the only man for the job.

More Grandad/Uncle Vic Moments
Victor’s business days should remain behind him, say 33% of you, who prefer seeing the character in warm family moments with grandson Brady (Eric Martsolf) and nephews Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Justin (Wally Kurth). But that doesn’t mean you ever want the guy to lose his edge. You love watching Victor dole out business advice to the next generation of Kiriakis men just as much as you enjoy him chastising them, when he feels they’re behaving like imbeciles in their personal lives.

More Romance with Maggie
The final 30% of fans believe Victor is well past the age of retirement and should be enjoying his golden years with wife, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers). You’d love to see the pair share some sweet romantic moments and maybe even a few double dates with Julie and Doug or Hope and Rafe. Victor and Maggie are the kind of couple that more Salemites should aspire to be like.
