Biscuits in the Oven: Who Will End Up Pregnant on Days of our Lives?

Wasn’t it convenient that practically anyone who matters on Days of our Lives chose to have breakfast at the exact same place last week? Have any of them ever stopped by there for a nosh before? Guess the smell of sabotaged biscuits can’t be beat.

They came, they ate, they proposed marriage, they acted stupid, they had sex, and they almost had sex. So, after all that, who will turn up pregnant in Salem?

It’s a DAYS Tie!

No, we don’t mean twins, but that 18% of the audience voted for two different answers. One set thinks Melinda (Tina Huang) will be the one. Sure, she and Stefan (Brandon Barash) didn’t actually have sex…that we saw. (This is DAYS. History gets rewritten on an hourly, if not daily, basis, so who knows?)

So either you’re assuming there was more to that scene than we know or the possibility that Melinda will pretend there was. Who’s to stop her from getting pregnant some other way and then putting Stefan on the spot, trusting him not to remember what actually happened? And after all the time he invested into making it seem like he and the District Attorney were an item, there goes his plausible deniability.

Meanwhile, an equal 18% expect Melinda to get pregnant…alongside Nicole (Arianne Zucker). You think both of these ladies will really be pregnant, which could be a neat trick.

DOOL: Miracles Happen

And guess, what? Another 27% of the audience agrees with them! Sure, Nicole was told she couldn’t get/stay pregnant. That’s why she used Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) as a surrogate to have Holly. But, again, this is DAYS. See above about the hourly history rewriting.

Miracles happen in Salem every day. A barren woman getting pregnant is the least of it. (How many people have returned from the dead just this month?) The big issue would be if Eric (Greg Vaughan) is the father. What would that mean for Nicole’s relationship with EJ (Dan Feuerriegel)? And will it mean Eric forgives Nicole everything? Again?

Days of our Lives: Forget About It

On the other hand, a winning 37% of viewers don’t expect either bundle of joy to happen. Nicole because of the whole can’t have babies thing, and Melinda because of the whole didn’t have sex thing. Sure, Roman (Josh Taylor) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) can have a pair of twins who were conceived in a petri dish, birthed by Marlena (Deidre Hall), and came down from the sky dressed as aliens. But this — this is beyond the pale!
