It wouldn’t be Days of our Lives if the good – and not-so-good – people of Salem had just lived a carefree twelve months. But who had it rougher than others, and really deserves a happy new year moving forward?
Days of our Lives Polling: Send in the Clown
Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) has lived a pretty rough life – with not an insignificant part of it being her fault; no, we don’t mean the abusive marriage, we aren’t victim blaming; but the lying and blackmailing, that was all on her.
Which is why viewers were kind of surprised when it was being held hostage by a clown for a couple of hours which put her over the edge. But, hey, the straw that broke the camel’s back and all. Which is probably why 7% of you wish Bonnie a peaceful new year…and beyond.
Singing the Blues
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) spent a year fighting off Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), only for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) to dump her anyway. Now she’s with Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash), but we all know that’s under duress and brainwashing. Hopefully, 2023 (or is that 2024, since Salem had that time jump?) will be a better one for Chloe, according to 9% of the fans.

Straighten Up and Fly Right
Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) is trying to be good, 20% of the audience sincerely believes. Is it his fault honest work is so hard to find? We don’t care that experts are predicting the economy is about to tank in April. Xander better pull it together. There are just so many lies Sarah Horton Cook (Linsey Godfrey) is willing to put up with! Five…10…20…1,000, tops! And then she’s out of there!
Sad Chad DiMera
Alas, poor Chadwick, a majority 64% sigh. Not only did Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) lose his wife, Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) to Clyde Weston’s (James Read) blade, but now he actually has to take care of his own children once in a while. When will this agony end? Hopefully next year!
